The main function of the excavator wedge oil cylinder is to provide lifting force, enabling various actions of the excavator.
The operation of the excavator relies on its hydraulic system, particularly the design and functionality of hydraulic cylinders. In an excavator, hydraulic cylinders are responsible for driving the boom and other working attachments to perform various tasks. Additionally, the excavator’s hydraulic boom cylinder, arm cylinder, and bucket cylinder are all double-acting cylinders, meaning they can perform lifting and extension movements while also changing the direction of hydraulic oil to achieve different working modes. In contrast, the cylinder located near the throttle is a single-acting cylinder, typically used for devices with shorter strokes, where the return of the piston needs to rely on an internal return spring or external force.
