The main function of the excavator engine valves is to control the pressure and flow of hydraulic fluid, thus regulating the excavator’s movements and speed.
As a heavy-duty construction machinery, excavators have hydraulic systems as a core component, with the engine valves playing a crucial role in it. The distribution valve system, as a core component of the hydraulic excavator, not only controls the flow direction of hydraulic oil but also regulates the pressure and flow of the oil to ensure that the excavator can efficiently and safely complete various tasks. By precisely controlling the pressure and flow of hydraulic oil, the distribution valve system can achieve precise control of the excavator’s various movements, including digging, lifting, rotating, etc., thereby improving work efficiency and quality.
Additionally, the engine warm-up process of the excavator is also crucial. In low-temperature conditions, starting the engine may be difficult due to increased oil viscosity and reduced battery performance. Therefore, the operator needs to turn the key to the HEAT position for warm-up to ensure that the engine operates optimally. This process not only affects the engine’s lifespan but also directly impacts the overall performance and operational safety of the excavator.
