The main function of the excavator housing is to protect the internal mechanical components of the excavator while also providing heat dissipation and ensuring operator safety. The excavator housing typically consists of a front housing, middle housing, rear housing, and bottom plate, which are connected by bolts to form a structure containing a top surface and four sides. The design of the housing takes into consideration heat dissipation and ease of maintenance. For example, the side ends of the front, middle, and rear housings are bent inward to fit with the bottom plate, with several bolts at the fitting points for easy disassembly and maintenance. Additionally, the top surface of the housing contains several heat dissipation holes and an oil inlet hole. The design of the sides bending inward to fit with the bottom plate not only aids in heat dissipation but also helps protect operators from mechanical injuries to a certain extent, thereby enhancing operational safety.
