The main function of the excavator starter controller is to achieve the automatic start, automatic control, and automatic protection functions of the excavator.
The excavator starter controller is an important component of the excavator, equipped with various functions to ensure the normal operation and safe use of the excavator. The following are its main functions:
1. Automatic Start and Automatic Control: When receiving a start signal or when the start button is manually pressed, the controller will automatically complete the start-up, unit operation, and fault shutdown protection procedures and process control.
2. Automatic Monitoring Function: Automatically monitor the speed changes of the engine during start-up, idle, acceleration, full speed processes, automatically engage and disengage the starting motor, shut down due to excessive or insufficient speed, and output operation signals when the speed is normal.
3. Operation Status Display Function: Based on the current system operating conditions, indicate the current status of the equipment through indicator lights or display screens, including standby, power on, fuel supply, automatic start, idle delay, normal operation, cooling shutdown, emergency shutdown, etc.
4. Operation Parameter Detection and Display Function: During system operation, the display screen shows real-time values such as speed, power frequency, operating time, and battery voltage to ensure that operators have a clear understanding of the excavator’s operating status.
5. Fault Self-Diagnosis, Fault Display, and Automatic Shutdown Protection Function: In case of abnormal situations during start-up and operation, the controller can diagnose faults based on preset parameters, display the fault causes on the panel display screen and corresponding indicator lights, an external buzzer can receive automatic alarm signals, and the unit will shut down to protect the unit.
These functions collectively ensure the safe and efficient operation of the excavator, improve work efficiency, and also ensure the safety of operators and equipment.
